Chatham Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Raghid Bitar to Siler City.
Dr. Bitar received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut and completed his general surgery training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also completed a research and clinical fellowship in Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Chapel Hill. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery
Dr. Bitar is interested in all areas of general surgery including abdominal surgeries, hernia repair, endoscopy and laparoscopic surgeries. He is specially trained to perform minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical procedures.
Dr. Bitar is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
