The Chatham Hospital staff works together to provide the best possible care for every patient and to serve as a health resource and friend to the community.
You'll find that Chatham Hospital and its staff are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations with a Gold Seal of approval. To achieve that ranking and ensure we deliver the quality care the community deserves, our Board of Directors continues to invest in our facilities and in a broad range of programs to serve your needs. We have a critical care unit, a medical-surgical floor and a day-surgery department. Our emergency room is staffed around the clock – serving more than 1,000 patients a month. In the months ahead, you'll be seeing other new services and programs.
And now we have just moved into a new hospital. This new facility is located near the intersections of US Highways 64 and 421 in the new Central Carolina Business Campus. You can see the pictures of the new facility on this Web site. We have new operating rooms, digital radiology equipment including mammography, ultrasound, 16-slice CT and bone densitometry, large patient rooms and much more.
The Chatham Hospital cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy and diabetes education departments are also in new space at the Village Lake complex near the Western Chatham Senior Center. Cardiac rehabilitation offers Phase II, III and IV programs. Physical therapy and diabetes education have expanded their services with the move to larger space.
